When encoding to PAL vcd what is the best settings for optimum picture and sound quality ?
Should i leave the default settings or can someone recommend any adjustments that will improve quality , cheerz .
I just want to be sure im getting the best quality before i go and convert a few dvds to vcd .

to improve quality you can encode as a non standard vcd and increase the bitrate on your video settings. tmpgenc allows you to do this via its wizard. there are full instructions on this site.

Maybe you should use the templates at www.kvcd.net.
