  1. I've captured some video in MPEG-2 format and burnned it into 99min CDR. On the computer the audio is in sync but when I viewed it in my DVD it was out of sync.

I burned it using TDKVelo CDRW drive. I think the problem may have been that I burned it at too high a speed but not sure. Has anyone else had this problem.

I'd like to find out before I use another 99min CDR since they are a little more pricey and harder to find.

    Thanks

  2. It may be that your DVD player doesnt support 99min cdrs. Try cutting the movie, and putting it on 2 different 80 or 70 min cdrs.

  3. I did read another post that a user disabled the menu on the SVCD burn and it burned fine. I tried it on a regular CD (just added a few of the files), lowered the burning speed (12x instead of 24x) and it burned fine.

I'm going to try it on the 99min CD tonight.

My DVD player has been able to place everything I throw at it. I'm hoping it's not the hardware.

    thanks for the idea though.

  4. Again If you want to keep from having coasters please burn at the 8x speed, you find out less errors, also alot of the stand alone DVD players will not play your VCD's or SVCD's burned at the higher speeds. I know its slower and on a 99min. CD-R, yes it will take about 13 minutes to fully burn and close a CD-R, also make sure to use DAO on the 99min. CD-R's, but this is formula I use and I burned over 100 99min. CD-R's without one turning out to be a coaster and all play perfect on DVD players that can support them, not all players will, all APEX, SAMPO and Daewoo's will.
