  1. I have a file that, after converting with tmpge, using the wizard and setting for NTSC (mpeg1, 352x240, 29.97fps) makes the file to 757 megs, too big for the cd's I have (stupid question here...) do they make a 800 meg cd? if not what settings would I use to make the file smaller to fit on the 700 meg cd if I redo the conversion in tmpge, or would it be smarter to use a video editing program to cut it in half and write it to 2 cds? THANK YOU!!

  2. A regular 80min/700MB CDR can store up to 800MB or 80mins of VCD. This is due to the VCD not having error checking that frees up space. So you should be ok to burn your 757MB VCD. I just burnt 792MB CVD on a CDR today.

How can you free up 800 MB for a non VCD file(s). Is there a setting in Nero that will free up more space?

BTW, this was a great question.
