  1. hey. i was wondering, some svcd come on more than one cd, and therefore there a re usually 2-3 seperate bin/cue files. Is it possible to burn all of them on one dvd disc??? please help, i would much appreciate it.

i have a pioneer dvd-r a04 burner if that makes a difference, and also nero 5578, primodvd 2.0 and fireburner 2.1.5 software (not sure if fireburner does dvd)

  2. No, this is not possible, at least not the way you describe it.

bin/cue files are disc images, i.e. they also contain the file-structure of a (V)CD, and it's not possible to have several different filestructures on one disc.

What you could do is extract the mpg-files from you bin-files (e.g. by using VCDGear or Isobuster) and author them into one regular DVD. The remaining problem might be that your mpeg-files are not DVD-compatible, in which case you have to re-encode the files (or at their audio tracks) according to DVD specifications.

  4. It depends on your MPEG files you take out of the bins with the programs mentioned above.

Most likely your MPEGs are MPEG1 (VCD) or MPEG2 (SVCD) and not the right format to put on a DVD-R. You will have to convert them to DVD specs using a program like TMPGenc (freeware www.tmpgenc.net). TMPGenc had a DVD template and the wizard will walk you through it.

Then you will probably have to author a DVD project using software that came with your DVD-R drive or buy something like DVDit or DVD Moviefactory (I think there is a trial at www.ulead.com).

If you want more info on Converting or Authoring (burning) see the topics to the left.

    Good luck
