Hey experts!
I have a DVD title here (The Stand), there is no subtitles on, BUT it is Closed Captioned. But my player (Pioneer DV-444S) does not have a CC decoder, nor has my TV (28" 16:9 Grundig MW 70-2690 NIC/TOP). Because, since I'm a european, TV's here are (as far as I know) not sold with a built-in CC decoder.
Do I have any options? If yes, what are they? A stand-alone CC decoder?
A thousand thanks in advance, people.

Hmm, if you could play it on your PC, and your PC had a video-out, and was not too far from your TV, and you had enough cable, you could try the video-out thing.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war." -
Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. That was actually a brilliant idea, I didn't think of that. But unfortunately, I don't have a VIDEO-OUT thingy on my video-card.
Thanks anyway, dewd.
