I've set the Play button, default in TSCV, to start playing the movie when the play button is pressed but it doesn't respond. All the other buttons work the way I want them too but not the play button. Could there be something wrong with the XML file or is it that my Apex AD-1500 won't recognize this command? Please let me know. Thanks

There is no button referable to a VCD called the "play" button.
There is a button called the "default" button that is often mapped as "play" on a DVD remote.
Perhaps, this simply isn't the case with your player. Hunt around your remote... is there a button called "default"?

Nope, no buton called teh default. It's an Apex AD-1500. The button is referred to as Enter/Play. I checked the XML code and can't find anything that would prevent it from playing properly. Maybe I need to get a different programmable remote or a different DVD player.

Just try pressing all the buttons first...
Perhaps it has been mapped to some obscure button (and hasn't been named as such).
