I ripped some old tapes onto my computer, and it goes about 350 mb for every 10 minutes!! Is there a way to convert it to avi, and bring it down a few hundred mb? I've even seen high quality mpeg videos at 20 minutes in length at about 100mb. Thanks

btw, I am using WinFast 2000 xp. Is there a way to capture (thats what I meant by "rip") straight to avi? But if I convert to avi, is it still possible to put it onto a vcd or dvd?
