  1. I just downloaded two movies, tried to encode them with TMPGE and I get an error message claiming that the file is unsupported or can not open. There both avi's and I have all the right codecs in place. What could the problem be, its happen with both movies which I have never had a problem with before...Any help?

  2. Download the Windows Media Player 7.1. I got these messages with Planet of the Apes and Jurassic Park 3 Divx files that I got from a friend. As soon as I upgraded my player I was able to play these files on my computer, and turn them into VCD ready MPEGS

  3. HAVING THE MEDIA PLAYER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.LOOK IN THE FORUMS UNDER CONVERSION,I HELPED A GUY OUT YESTERDAY WITH THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM.YOU HAVE TO RAISE THE PRIORITY
    OF THE AVI PLUGINS UNDER OPTIONS,ENVIROMENTAL SETTINGS.
