Help With Nero

I am using Nero to create a VCD. Everything works great. Until I try to burn it. An error message pops up saying that the medium is full. When I click on the recorder icon and then the medium info it shows a blank cdr. I also tried to make an audio cd with the same results. Also is it possible to create an image with Nero and burn with another program?

That sounds like It could either be the burner or the CD-R you're useing.

Does your burner work okay,is It any good? What about the type of CD-r,have you used that type sucessfully before?

I seem to remember getting errors like that a while back with other programs when useing cheap junk Cd-rs,saying stuff like the disc was already full before I even did anything to It,etc.

Does it say full, or not enough room ? Also do you have Nero 5.5.82

I am using the latest version. It says that the medium is not writable. I have tried different brands of cdrs. I even tried a cdrw. I would use Easy Cd Creator but it doesn't seem to produce a very compatable VCD. But, Easy CD does work.

you have to install latest driver of your burner, or find the compatible os. I got the same problem before. after i installed the updated drivers and correct os, its ok now.

I`m a big fan of Unlead DVD Workshop! Try it!
I don`t even have a burn program installed, Workshop does it for you!
With workshop you can create menu`s in severeal layers.
I can only say " Try it "

Are the VCDs as compatable as one made with Nero?

Uninstall all burn software but Nero,otherwise you will get a driver conflict.
I had the same problem when I had NTI cd-maker and Nero on my pc.

I don`t know about Nero, but i`ve never made a cd, that wouldn`t play i my or my family and friends dvd players.
But try it. If it don`t work, as you want it to, you can allways go back to Nero! )
