  1. ok, i have tried usin the DVD2AVI DVD conversion guide and i got the dvd ripped onto the HD..then i use dvd2avi program and it does it and i have a file.d2v but when i go to open the program TMPGEnc i cant select a video output, my audio one works fine just the video part doesnt, and when i go down to the bottom, it says i might come across this program and it says to select another audio track in the program dvd2avi, i was wonderin how do to that, cuz there are like 2 different places where i can select different audio tracks, thanks for your time, hope you can help

    1. Copy the VFAPI file in your DVD2Avi directory into your TMPGEnc directory.

    2. Go into TMPGEnc's environmental settings and raise the priority of this DVD2Avi VFAPI.

    3. Open the .d2v file as your video source.

    4. Encode!

  3. ok for some reason i cant find the vpafi file anywhere, the site for dvd2avi file is down, i do have the file but i dont have the plug-in to get it, i was wondering where else i could find the file?

  4. Just change the menu to "All Files" and choose the d2v file - that should work.

  5. it says it cannot be opened, or unsupported..i dont know what to do!

  6. in tmpgenc, go to options, global settings. click on the "Vfapi plugins" tab, and see if there's a plugin called "Dvd2avi project file reader xxx". if you can't open d2vs, it's probably not. do a search on your comp for the file dvd2avi.vfp. move that into your tmpgenc dir, run a little install.bat file, and you should be good to go.
