I guess I could try, but not sure if I'm heading for coasterville. Can I combine data ie bmp or exe files with a DVD that is intended for video player? I would think so since it only has a video_ts and audio_ts folder.

For archival purpose. I am transferring old vids and photos. I have over 1 gig of space left, so I want to save the original lossless photos.

Just a follow up for anyone interested. I went ahead and took a flying leap. It works, you can put other items on a DVD and still have it work on a stand alone. I kinda figured since some DVD have games, but I wasn't sure if "we" were able to.
