KIT:
HP 1.4Pm 256mb - 15gig free
Belkin USB Video II
Software: Windows Movie Maker and MGI Video Wave.
Problem one:-
Both these applications freeze sometime making me have to power off laptop.
Problem two:-
Apart from the above the MGI Video Wave generally works - but the files are huge (10 secs - 40mb) - so not really practicle - - - How do I make smaller files on creation (can use Virtual Dub to reduce but need original file smaller).
Problem three:-
Windows Movie Maker - nice small files - but won't record audio because it shows something like *Belkin 16k audio" in the list but only lets me choose Belkin Audio which seems to put all the sound in the first couple of seconds on playback - very odd.
I have the latest XP driver for the Belkin device.
Composite input
Tonnes of disk space
Any helpers?
Cheers,
Ian
