I've created a couple of home movie DVD's recently (using Videowave 5 and DVDit PE). I've included slideshows (photo's to music) by scanning my pic's and inserting them as still frames within a movie into Videowave and creating the MPG file that way, however the quality of the picture when it appears on screen is not razor sharp.
I'm currently scanning at 300dpi, and saving the image in the DVD resolution of 720 x 576. Is this the best method? Is there a decent tool for creating slideshows (with music) that will output an AVI or MPG file that I can then burn using DVDit? Any help much appreciated.
