I have some sitcoms i want to put on vcd. However, some of the source files pop when the volume gets loud in the file. I know there is no way to eliminate, but i've heard there is a way to try and block it. Does anybody know how to do this?

no way to eliminate? demultimplex and load goldwave or similar wav
editor. Look for the spikes and replace with silence or normalise - do
not delete if you want to stay in sync.
