  1. hi everyone, I just got a nice svcd, but my dvd player wont play svcd, so i wanna encode to crappy mpeg1. I always use virtual dub to rip the audio, for perfect sync. Is virtual dub capabable of savving a wav from a mpeg2 video ? If so, please tell me how its done. Thanks~John. ps, when i open the mpeg2 i get this error "MPEG IMPORT FILTER Pack syncronization error"

  2. i get that error sometimes try using dvd2avi. load up the mpg file and save the project it will create a file with the .dv2 extension and an .mpa audio file. Then load the dv2 file as the video and the mpa as the audio in tmpgenc and convert to an mpeg1

  3. THanks, I did that. But i used the orignal mp2 video as the source instead ov the one created by dvd2avi, will this mess things up ?.. I tested both mp1's, from both sources and they were the same.
