  1. I have just started making vcd's and have a problem. I tried burning a test vcd, a music video. The file started out as an mpeg1, and i used nero to burn a vcd. i dragged the file in and told nero to burn, nero prompted me saying there was an error in the file and i needed to convert it. So i had nero convert it and burn it.

Burning succesful. Now I open the vcd in my computer by going into the directory and opening the .dat file with windows media player, it plays fine.

Then i go to my dvd player hooked to the tv. I KNOW it accpets vcd's from the start, as that was a feature i was looking for when i purchased it. It claims to accept cdr and cdrw vcd. When I played it, the video is fine but the sound is VERY messed up, specifically the bass.

Well I think, maybe its my dvd player. I followed the nero vcd making instructions on this site verbatim. So i try my OTHER dvd player thats hooked to a different tv. Same problem, except the tv isnt as nice and the sound seems to be even WORSE. Any ideas?? Thx
