But I have been having problems with the DVD-Movie pausing & skipping, also the clarity isnt to good, Like the Coversion from AVI to MPGE wasnt good or smooth... You can see blocks of Data in the Background of movie..........

    ANSWER#1
    Your using it.

    Q#2

    A#2
Depends on what you intend to do with it. Since you say MPG1, most likely you're interested in VCD. The blockyness is caused by a too low bit rate. When a great deal of action occurs, it sacrifices quality to maintain framerate. I'd suggest creating your own template with a higher bit rate if you just intend to leave it as an MPG file and not burn it to VCD. VCD files (MPEG1) need to have that constant bit rate, so you can't do much about it if that's your intention. Try SVCD.

    Q#3
Is MPGE2 better quailty then mpg2 when convert from avi to DVD?

    A#3
Given that DVDs are MPEG2, I'd have to say yes.
MPEG2 supports VBR which can greatly enhance quality, at the cost of extra (sometimes 3 times more) encoding time
