  1. hey, i am having trouble with my copy of black hawk down vcd, i have a stand alone dvd player that doesnt play cd-r, but will play cd-rw. but when i play my vcd in it, there is a slight audio gap.i have tried to use vcdgear v3.0 to convert the dat. file to a straight mpeg file to use in tmpgenc to correct this audio problem, but i cant get any further.i use the dat. to mpeg conversionsystem, i load my dat. file in vcdgear input file, go to start, but it says "not enough space to write output file, continue?", i put yes, but then it says "unable to create outputfile".what am i doinfg wrong, please help!

  2. After you are prompted the source .dat file, you will be instantly prompted the location where you want to save the mpg file to. Choose a path/dir in your harddisk. If you just put the name you want to save to, it will save on your VCD(CD-ROM) which is not writable. That's why you get the error.

    So, choose the right path/dir when you save your mpg file.

  3. u don't need a program to convert a dat file on a vcd to a mpg all you do is have the file extentions showing and change the .dat to .mpg
