    does anybody have any idea why i can't backup data by selecting dvd iso (using nero) by just dragging the selected files to the window and click burn, as you would do when doing a cdr?i keep getting the message failed to install, or can not find something, i don't want to install i just want it to copy it to a dvd.
    (i must have a setting wrong somwhere)

    don't know why you can't pull it off, I do the same thing in Nero ( 5.5.8.2 ) and I treat it just like a CD-R ( UDF/ISO I select for DVD ) and I can drag n drop data and burn. Not sure what is plagueing your system.

    What version of NERO do you have? Mine works fine when I select ISO from the DVD menu.
