nancie, download speeds depends far more on the person you are downloading from rather than the application. I recommend www.winMX.com as a P2P application.

Use Kazaa if you like having multiple instances of spyware on your computer. Other than that, its a good program too.

I wouldnt worrie to much about that Gnerma. Notting a simple firewall
wouldn't cope with, besides WinMX allso is spyware p2p sof, no?
Isn't all peer-2-peer softwares like spying on others predetermined sharefolders..

Nancie doesnt seem like the kind of user who is running a firewall. No winMX has no spyware (they say so and I've read the whole EULA). Besides, winmx has just has good search results and functionality as Kazaa. Why deal the bull shit?

i prefer kazaa for downloading music, videos, also to share files with the peers, speed is excellent, best p2p program, can search for any cool stuff.

problem with Kazaa is you will get a hell of a lot of fake files. when i used to share my files i used IMESH, what would take a couple of days too download on Kazaa would only take a couple of hours on IMESH
