Hi,
I've noted that all the how-tos tell you to check the fps of your divx file and then to use a VCD template in TMPG based on the value. For example, with 25,000 fps they say to use the PAL VCD template.
Okay, I've figured out that the template is referring to the source. I'm not sure why a divx would use a PAL source template though.

Well I use PAL in all my DivX AVI's, but there again I live in the UK, not in a country that uses Never the same colour (NTSC)
I also make all my VCD's in PAL, that way they work with all DVD players in the UK (The ones that wont play NTSC)
There again if your NTSC player playes PAL ....
