  1. ive just bought my ge force two and whe i watch my movies on full screen on the tv the flicker and jump slightly making it look as if the lip sync is out . Is this a common problem with tv -out as i have just got rid of an m-peg card which was a little better or is there a way of improving the smooth play of my films

  3. I had problems on my GF3 when I used a resolution of 800x600 for the desktop. Problem was solved when I used 640x480 desktop resolution on the TV output. Give it a try ... other than that, I don't know.

    If you are playing a DVD or movie with macrovision and you connect your tv-out to a vcr before the signal goes to your TV it will do that or worse. Also if you have a tv-out on the television which is connected to an external device like a vcr it will also cause that problem even though you first connect to the TV.

    I have a GE force2 mx400 and my normal monitor setting is 1024x768

    When I play movies to the TV I find its much better if I change my primary monitor screen rez so that it is the same as the max clone signal going to the vcr/tv (800x600).

    Check out info TVTOOL and possibly DVDIDLE they remove macrovision but also these apps stabilize the picture and remove the flicker.
