  1. I am going to the store shortly to trade my Visiontek Xtasy Everything (GeF 2 MX400 with nVidia Personla Cinema) for and AIW Radeon 8500DV. I hope I can get good uncompressed caps at 720x480 in V-Dub and play a game every now and then. Any last minute advice before I do this?
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

  2. I am looking to purchase either the Visiontek Xtasy Everything or the Radeon 8500DV. If you did purchase the 8500DV did you find it better at capturing than the Visiontek? Any other comments about both cards?

My personal preference would to go with the Radeon 8500DV. If for no other reason other than the fact you won't have to purchase a separate card for DV capture. Also the price on this card has dropped drastically since ATI introduced the new 9700 series cards. I've found it listed on Pricewatch.com for under $165.00.
