I am a newbie with video editing (I know that I should not be using Premiere but should be using something that is easier, but oh well). I have been reading the 400page User Guide, but I am having a problem putting text onto the screen while in the program. I have Video1 as the clip, with Video2 as a Title screen. I am trying to make it become transparent once the film starts, since there are 4 seconds of the original title before it lays above the beginning of the clip. Is this the easiest way to add text to a screen while the clip plays?
Question2 (much easier) - I have one whole MiniDV tape copied as a file, the I make Bins for each of the people who clips I have. Basically, I am copying short 15-25 second clips as duplicate clips with Markers as opposed to rewinding and fastfowarding the camcorder. Is this the way to do this if I am going to be cutting out 100 or so piieces per file of 60 minute tapes?
