i'm new to the VCD world - using cyberlink powerdirector with a geforce 4600 vivo card - captured a 2 hour video to mpeg format, but when i try to use nero 5.5.4.0 to make a VCD, it won't fit the 1.2gb file on the CD - from what I hear, there should be some type of compression of the mpeg going on, but I don't know exactly what I'm doing wrong....can somebody tell me what's up, I feel like I'm so close yet so far.......

Your are sooo close
Your mpeg file of 1.2gig is too big. Maximum filesize for
an 80 minute cd is approx 800 megabytes. I suggest you
break your 1.2gig file into half and burn each on one cd.
Check the tools section (on the left) on how to do this. You can use tmpgenc, dvtools etc.
