    ok....i am having trouble enoding divx to Svcd. I've tried several different methods but they all seem to make my comp freeze about 30 mins into encoding. i wonder if its the settings on tmpeg etc. but even then i use defaults. I also dont think its my equipment. you can check my system info on the comp spec button. if you can help me thank you so much. you r my last resort hehe

    Check the DivX for bad frames with Vdub
    Video >Scan video stream for errors

    Save out another copy using
    Video > Direct stream copy.
    Audio > Direct stream copy.
    SAVE AS save out a new file.
