It's been a few months since I last had time to convert a captured file.
I multisegment capture using VDub & Matrox Marvel (using Matrox h/w MJPEG codec).
I get the message "can not open, or unsupported" when I try to open the avi in TMPGenc (I've tried TMPGenc ver 2.55 & trusty old 12a.)
I used to be able to f/s to TMPGEnc no problem. I don't believe I've changed anything (that I can remember) since I last did it.
I've tried opening a segment directly, tried naming the signpost as signpost.vdr, signpost.avi & signpost.vdr.avi
I've enabled the AVI handler from VDubs Aux Tools & proxyed on.
Tried turning on & off AVI2 file reader & highered priority of Direct Show Multimedia File Reader in TMPGEnc. All to no avail!
Anyone got any ideas what's gone wrong/where I've screwed up??
Any help deeply appreciated - My TIVO's getting full of stuff I desperately need to archive!!!
Many thanks
Nezza
