  1. I have a .bin file but do not know how to read it.

I have Toast, but do not know what the procedures are to make this work.

Can someone give me some details how to do this please?

    Thanks.

I am assuming your on a MAC since you have Toast running ?

If not, you can use a utility called IsoBuster to extract portions of the bin, or you may use VCD Gear to convert a bin to the Mpeg.

If you are on a MAC I am sorry as I am not familiar on that platform and it's utilities available. Sorry.

Just look under the Computer details to see what type of computer is being run.

VCD gear is also for the mac. It'll be able to convert .bin files for mpeg for you.

  4. .bin on a Mac stands for Binary.
Use Stuffit Expander to view the file.

  5. TheCleaner, .bin is also the extension of the pretty famous .cue/.bin disk image format which many Video CDs are distributed, or burned with.
