  1. Now that I've gotten the hang of making vcds I now want to burn all the mp3s that I have on my computer to cd since my dvd player will play them.
Someone told me that mp3s take up less space so you can fit more music on a 80min 700 mg cd,
I've made 2 cd's but could only get an average of 20 tracks on the cd these are all mp3s I go to my mp3 folder with nero drop and drag the mp3s I want on the cd and thats it they play fine but am wondering about the size issue thought I could put alot more on the cd with mp3s
Am new at this so if someone can help great thanks.

  2. I Don't know at what quality you made your MP3's, but if you use the typical Stereo, 128kbps, then you can put around 170 songs on a 74min CDR media which would equal to about over 11 hours / near 12 hours of CD Quality Audio.

I've done about 5 or 6 of those by now using Audio Catalyst (to create) and Nero (to burn).

make sure you are burning them as data cd's, if you burn them as audio cd's you will not get alot on the disc

  4. As tenders mentioned, if you burn MP3's as Audio CD's, it will basicly be converted again to Audio CD, so you'd be limited to 74min Audio for 74min CD.
