  2. You dont really "install" avisynth. You copy the .dl file to a folder and add it to your registry. You ned to provide more info to gain sufficient help. Exactly how are you trying use Avisynth. Please list all steps.

  4. rightclick the .dll (dynamic link library File) and left click on "install" or "merge" depending on what version of windows you have.

  5. You install the avisynth dll into the windows/system directory, and install the premiere plugin into the flask directory (make sure it s named *.flask) and you should now have a 'output to avisynth' option.

I ve even done it slightly better:

Flask--->Virtualdub (using the avisynth plugin)---->TMPGEnc (using the virtualdub framserver). This enables me to apply the subtitles in VirtualDub through the Vobsub filter, rather than through Flask, and this way put them in the black band of the letterbox (instead of over the movie like Flask does).

@ aguillon, you can even skip the entire VDub part and do all editing tasks with Avisynth.

  7. Call me lazy, I do like the Vdub interface better than having to program in avisynth. I have looked into the programming language, though, and I will probably give it a try sooner or later.

And in terms of subtitles, I quite like the Virtual Dub subtitle filters - don t recall avisynth being able to do it.

    Cheers
