I don't know if anybody else has run in to this, but I have a corrupt divx on a cd and the problem is to use any kind of program like DivFix on it, the file needs to be on my hard-drive. But because the file is corrupt, it won't copy. I've tried VirtualDub and that bombs out too!
Is there some way of doing it or am I screwed?

This may be a very troublesom way of copying it over but what the hell...
get bpftp server
www.bpftpserver.com
get bpftp
www.bpftp.com
Run the server share your cd-rom
insert your cd-rom disk into the drive
open bpftp
connect to your own computer using bpftp
copy the file located on the disk..
if that doesnt do it, the disk may aswell be a coster, as far as im concerned
