Ok I was wondering if it is worth it to start serving on an irc chnnel .
I have a cable modem and small HD space(only 280gigs)
Would I be an xdcc or would I be fserver?
I thought I knew the difrence but I'm not sure now that I've used some xdcc chanels only 10kbs second and itsays xdcc before their name.
Someone told me that if I start serving then I will get uploads from people is this true?
Can anyone suggest a tutorial so I can read/learn about serving.
Thanks in advance

if you serve in soem channel for a period of time they might give you access to certain 'dumps' which is t1+ lines only for movies or whatever storage.
Doesnt matter you can be either one, doesnt really matter what speed your on either, its just whatever the person chooses
soemtime people will upload to you, hehe if they feel like it.
