  1. Ok, I had to convert the audio from a .avi to the 44,000Hz thing. Then when I tried to dub the new wav audio to a new .avi the program (VirtualDub) said the file would be too big. The file was expected to be a Gb and it suggested I compress the video. What should I do??? I am really confused...

    By default VirtualDub defaults to no compression when saving an AVI
    It was just giving you reminder that the resulting AVI would be very large
    Set a codec to compress the video to a managable size
    If you are cleaning up a AVI file - try and match the input codec
    You can find it under file information
