    I’ve downloaded a couple of clips in avi/wmv/mpeg1 formats; however their color/ contrast/ brightness are completely messed up. Is there any tool I can use to fix this problem? Thanks

    You can use Virtual Dub for the avis but dont know about the other two. Unless your gonna reencode the mpgs you can use TMPGEnc filters while encoding
