Getting 2nd DVD-R to start with movie right away

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the 2nd DVD-R, when splitting a DVD 9, to start with the movie right away, without any warning or corp logos, or the menu. I've tried removing the video_ts.vob file, getting rid of all the extras, menus, etc... but when I do that, the player gives a disc error message and then I have to skip to the correct title/chapter using the remote. I was wondering if there is any value in the video_ts.ifo file (or one of the others) that I can edit so that the player will go directly to playing the movie (where the 1st disc left off) without giving me a Disc Error message. Any help would be great.
