  3. *YAWN* at your Thoroughbred core.

Even the old Palamino core's had better Overclocking abilities. Plus those new Thoroughbred's produce about the same amount of heat dissapation as the Palamino. Slightly less and that's only with the low end Thouroughbred's at 1700+, 1800+ and 1900+.

I'd take a Palamino at 2200+ vs a Thoroughbred 2200+ any day. Hopefully AMD will release one more Palamino.

So much for that 0.13-µm mess

Hopefully AMD will stop dragging it's foot with this Thoroughbred business and jump right into the Barton arena and start giving Intel a run for it's money.

Personally not a big deal to me, I don't over clock. Last system I did ran fine for about a year then started acting kind strange... I replaced the CPU and it stoped being freaky on me... in the long run over clocking is not worth it. BUt its a personal choice more then anything else. And since I'm not over clocking I have no issue with the core. Its just a good fast CPU that was recently compaired to a P4 2.4ghz in the MPEG encoding arena.
