HP DVD Writer 200i & problems

I read your website of DVD players. The page shows many players that can read DVD+R and DVD+RW. I burned two DVD movies on DVD+R and DVD+RW using HP DVD Writer 200i. I went to local stores to try which player can play my DVD. I tried many players with different brand names. I found that most of DVD players can read DVD+RW and no one can play DVD+R even the player marked DVD+R so far. Who can give me advices to solve the problem? Thanks,

What software you are using, some software needs a patch to be able to write to DVD+R, e.g. NERO, Ulead DVD Workshop, and Ulead DVD MovieFactory.
