  1. I'm using TMPGenc-2.54.37.135 and everytime I convert from .avi to .mpg for vcd, the video does not appear. I can hear the audio fine. I searched the site for a repeat post of this but could not find one. Please help.

    Have you tried change the direct show reader priority? Increase to 1 and open the video.

  5. Does the finished MPEG have video, or do you not have preview video while encoding?

    If it's only while encoding check that your preview option in TMPGEnc is correct

  6. Thanks guys! The problem was the divx codecs. I thought that having the latest version would do... guess the .avi was encoded with an older version of divx and I needed the codec for that specific version.


    BTW the preview quality looks pretty low... am I expecting too much for a VCD or should it look high quality?
