The main difference is frames per second: NTSC = 29.97fps and NTSC film 23.976

  3. So when you want to convert to VCD, is it better to
use the NTSC or NTSC Film template using Tmpeg?

Which one has the best quality?

  4. you need to use force film in DVD2AVI, then use NTSC film in TMPGEnc. 23.9 frames is better, they play smoother than 29.9 frames do, don't let anyone tell you different
