  1. I created a VCD and used Sefy's guide. I also created chapters. The disk play's perfect on my standalone DVD-player, but does not play on my PC. WinDVD and MediaPlayer do not play.
When i jump over the chapter-creation on Sefy's guide and simply use the MPG-file, and create a VCD with Nero, then the disc plays on both, the DVD-player and also the PC..... but i would like to have the chapters in.

    Does anybody has a suggestion???

  2. With what are you trying to play the VCD ? are you using Media Player or a true VCD/DVD Software playback program ? (such as WinDVD / PowerDVD)

  3. This is the outcome:
Using VCDEasy 1.1.1 to create a CD-Image with chapters, and using Nero 5.5.8.2 to burn that, creates a CD which plays perfect on a standalone DVD-player, but does not play on a PC.

Using VCDEasy 1.0.9 to do exactly the same job, creates a CD which plays on both.

I did not try to burn with VCDEasy, because i did not want to install a second burning-program, to avoid problems on my machine.

    Can anybody confirm that?

  4. One minor comment,
VCDEasy (CDRDAO actually for burning) and Nero are perfectly compatible. Both will run on the same machine (partition in my case) under Windows 2000/XP

  5. NoPlayBack, you would have no problems with VCDEasy and Nero as burning programs, as VCDEasy uses CDRDao which is DOS based, and it will not conflict with any program.
