  1. I just finished converting the movie Animal House from Divx to MPG and so far all is well. I opened the new MPEG file up and watched the video and listened to the audio to make sure it was good and everything was in sync and I was happy with the result.

When I went to cut the file from the 0min - 46min mark to fit on CD-1 I went back and double checked the cd-1.mpg file it seemed fine, until about the 10min mark when all sound just died. The sound from 1-10 min is perfectly clear and fine, but at that mark there is no more sound. I don't understand that because the full mpeg movie file itself has sound all the way through and works.

    Any Ideas... suggestions?

Yes, If Vdub finds any... All you need to do is save out another copy of the movie to fix the problem. Vdub will save without the junk frames.

Video > scan video stream for errors
    Video > Direct stream copy
    Audio > Direct stream copy

    SAVE AS

    save movie2.avi

  5. Thanks, that seemed to fix the audio issue with Animal House. I'm going to try that with Basketball and see if it solves the issue with only cutting the first 5 minutes worth.

    I really appreciate your help.
