  1. We have a very hot topic right now that we think needs to be explained before all hell breaks loose. We are seeing a lot of new movies out there being encoded using OGG Audio and having the OGM file extension on the end of the file. Yes, these files will play on our computers just fine but what we are most concerned about is converting them to MPEGs for making them into VCD/SVCD/DVDs. The file with the .ogm extension will not open up in VirtualDub. It WILL load into TMPGe, but when we try to convert it we get "error occurred when ACM was initialized." This topic has been bounced back and forth for a few weeks now, but no one has given step by step instructions on how to do the conversion.
HOW DO YOU CONVERT OGG/OGM FILES TO MPEGs?
Please help us! For those power converters out there that have the knowledge to share with all of us we would greatly appreciate it. You would probably get the hero of the month award.

  4. Okay I used this program set it up just like the last link here showed to you to and I get this:

the graph could not change state.
the sample start time is after the sample end time.

I'm trying to do this without having to ask a billion question, but now I'm completely confused. Anyone point out where I need to go to fix this?

~edit~ I've tried this 3 different times, each time setting it up exactly how the page says too, each time getting the same thing. it stops at around 14 megs into the movie.

The people at Doom didn't seem to care, I guess it was a stupid topic for them eh. If you have any questions I would be glad to help...
