    Can we make a copy from DVD movie to DVDR???
    Which burning is the best, pioneer, philipps or ...?

    You cannot make a direct DVD to DVDR copy for two main reasons.

    1) DVDs are encrypted with CSS copy protection which cannot be copied from disc to disc.
    2) Many DVDs are dual layer whereas DVDRs are single layer. Therefore the content of most DVDs will not fit on a single DVDR.

    CSS can be removed from the DVD by ripping the VOBs from the DVD using a program such as Smart Ripper or DVD Decryptor. You can then reauthor the VOBs to a DVDR using SpruceUp or DVDit.

    You will either have to strip out unwanted angles on the DVD or burn it onto 2 DVDRs to make it fit. Read about both methods on the link below.
