    With CCE 2.50, CBR always works perfect, no complain. But whenever I try multipass VBR I always get error message which tells me that "THE CHECK SUM DID NOT MATCH WITH PREVIOUS PASS" (not these exact words, but this is the meaning)

    Can someone please tell me what is wrong ?

    Go to Doom9.net.
    Select "The guide" on the left panel.
    Select "VCD&SVCD Guides"
    Scroll down & select "Live Q&A for SVCD"
    Scroll down to Q27 & d/l "Patch"

    Thanks a lot for the reply. I went to www.doom9.net and VCD&SVCD Guides, but can not see "Live Q&A for SVCD" anywhere.
