  1. I made a video for a friend in his physics class. The whole thing eneded up being a big deal and now everyone wants a copy. I really want to make a VCD complete with a main menu and chapters. I broke up the movie myself into 14 different segments. I'm currently using VCDEasy and i have downlaoded TSCV because i saw how easy it looks to make a main menu and chapters. After running TSCV v0.84 it says i don't have TMPGEnc, or sh.exe which is needed for mpeg2enc, or jpeg2yuv1.exe and no mpeg2enc-pth-nosse.exe which is needed for encoding. I don't think i want the last one since my movies are already encoded into mpeg-1. If anyone could help start me in the right direction so i can complete my project it would be greatly appreciated. This software is soooo confusing!

  2. Go to PlugIns > Load Plugin and it will have you browse for TMPGEnc. If you don't already have that, you can download it on the Tools section of this site.

As for the other thing, I'm not sure what it is, but I'm somewhat a newbie myself.

If your movies are already encoded in MPEG1 (and I assume it's VCD compliant), why don't you download a trial version of DVD Workshop from www.ulead.com.

It's great for menus - probably the best I've seen so far...
