Hello, I'm new to the forum and would like to know if what I want to do to possible.
I'm an anime fan, and some of my favorite shows are only available in region 2 with only japanese subtitles (no english). I was wondering if it would be possible to rip the video itself, and somehow convert the subtitles to english. If I can't convert the japanese subtitle text, then possibly add an additional subtitle stream and re-burn the dvd as a region free disc.
If this is possible (even in in a roundaboutway), could you please let me know what kind of tools I would need in order to accomplish this.
Thanks for your help!
Kai
