Just wondering what the advantages and benefits would
be of using an external audio encoder such as toolame
with TMPEG instead of letting DVD2AVI rip the track when
you run it for the video. I haven't had time to do any tests
for quality yet, but was wondering if anybody has any
facts or opinions.
Thanks for any help in clearing this up.

I find that toolame often cuts out on mine as well, leaving a portion of
the final MPEG without sound.
What purpose is videopack 5 used for ?
