Burning error in Nero - dvdr..... this is getting annoying!

I've tried burning (test burn) in Prassi but got an error (re my other thread), and I've also now tried in Nero. It starts the test burn, but a little way through came up with this error:

Pioneer DVD-RW DVR104
Communication failure
Simulation Failed 1x (1380 KB/s)

What am I doing wrong? I ripped the dvd in SmartRipper, authored in Spruce Up, and have select DVD-video with the same settings as on the Nero/DVD guide on this site, and thrown the files into the VIDEO_TS folder.

I have burned a data dvd-rw ok (just a load on mp3's as a test to make sure the drive works) and that was OK.

This is driving me mad! Please help.....someone.....!

Turn off simulation for a start! why people bother with that i don't know.
as for england, i thought seaman's blundering performance resembled jar jar binks. world class goal keeper my arse has he been approached for episode 3 yet?

Perhaps if Yoda had've been in goal he could have used the force to keep the ball out....he'd have been more effective. Though saying that, if we had a Jedi in the team, Rivaldo would be diving all over the pitch clutching different parts of his body trying to con the ref into thinking he'd been attacked with the force.....!

I'm using simulation as I've only just got my burner and only have 6 disks with it, so I don't want a load of coasters before I've even started! I thought I'd be best to keep test burning until I get a success, then go for the proper burn (though I've also got a dvd-rw disk, but that won't burn either).

very funny! it was england who were diving all over the place. it was a joke. did'nt beckham dive twice looking for a penalty? it might have worked against greece with the feekick, but not this time! the reason for the diving? england are a poor side. a terrible game against sweden, the game against argentina was just a grudge match between 2 poor sides, the nigeria game was embarrissing! and denmark gifted 3 goals to you.
if england were more creative they could have scored. but sven is not up to managing at this level and it showed! there is always euro 2004.

I think England went out to Japan and did us all proud.

England made it out of the Group of Death and were unbeaten until they played the best team in the competition. Sadly the same cannot be said for the diabolical performances France, Argentina, Portugal and Italy have put in.

Roll on the European Championships!
