Span capture across 3 CD's?

I am an absolute newbie to VCD capture and would like some advice. I have capytures a film from TV creating a 1.7gb mpg file using the PAL format. I have Nero 5.5 and see where I can convert it to VCD but how do I span the film on to 3 CD's? TIA
