    I think this is the right section...

    Anyway, I have an Mpeg file which will not open in TMGEnc, and when I open it in VirtualDub it says 'Mpeg Import Filter: Packet Sync Error'.
    Any ideas whats wrong?

    I don't know what's wrong, but the mpeg is maybe damaged. Try to get another copy of the file.
